“SHOCKING”: Jessica Alba Says Men Prefer Blondes

With Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer due out tomorrow, it seems a good time to plug Jessica Alba as a BLONDE in her role in the film. Normally a darkhead, Jessica Alba bleached her hair blonde for hit films Fantastic Four and Sin City and immediately noticed how much more attention she attracted.
Jessica told Elle magazine: “People pay attention to blondes far more than they do to brunettes.”
“I definitely got checked out three times for every once I do with my regular hair colour.”

Well, clearly some of that dye must have seeped into her brain because this is one of the biggest “no duh” statements in history. Of course men prefer blondes to brunettes, so this shouldn’t be surprising. For someone who was voted the “FHM’s 2007’s Sexiest Woman in the World,” it’s kind of hard to see how she would get three times as much attention, but I guess you can’t underestimate the power of the blonde. Although judging by her picture, I wouldn’t really say she’s exactly blonde. More like the orangey in-between stage from going from darkhead to blonde. I’m thinking a visit to Dr. Peroxide would do her some good.
I have to admit though that she definitely has moved up on the masturbation hierarchy with her new look. Although now somewhere in the middle, she has at least distanced herself from the bottom of the pile that includes the likes of Angelina Jolie, Eva Longoria and other celebrity darkheads. Just keep the blonde hair dye coming Jessica Alba, and you’ll make it to the top soon enough!

Like i said so few real blondes and most real blondes are not pretty- bland plain looking and ugly. Even the ‘blonde bombshells’ like Marilyn Monroe, Scarlet Johansson, Jessica Simpson, Alicia silverstone, Ashley tisdale, Paris Hilton, Pam Anderson ect etc (search for “what is the real hair color of____) are real brunette! Most Swedish women have light brown hair, it is known Swede women admit so many of them dye their hair blonde. About only 20% of Finnish women are real blondes. Only few have real blue eyes too. A LOT of women wear blue contacts too esp. in the media as it’s idealized and they think look better in photogrpahs. one is Paris Hilton. search for ceelbrities who wear blue contacts.

I have had dyed blonde hair for the past 5 years and am so sick of it. I always admire beautiful brunettes over that of a beautiful blonde. Blonde hair has come to bore me.
I am going back to my natural dark brunette hair. It looks better with my blue/ gray eyes anyway.
But blondes are cute. I’m not saying they are not. I just think brunette hair looks more exciting and exotic.

I’m a natural brunette, but I’ve got to say, that blondes are sexier.
Less that 3% of the entire world’s population has natural blonde hair. 2% has natural red hair, and the remaining 95% has either natural brunette or black hair.
Natural blonde and red hair is very rare. It’s the same when you consider eye colour. Brown eyes are very common, However blue, gray and green eyes are more rare.
The reason why men are so attracted to blondes is because natural blondes are rare, but brunettes are everywhere!
When I walk out on the street, almost everyone I see has dark hair, and more often then not, dark eyes. I’m also a brunette, so I just blend in with the crowd. Whereas a blonde women stands out, and she gets a lot more attention because of that.
There is also scientific research which revealed that people are naturally drawn to lighter shades. This includes hair colour. Blondes get the most amount of attention because their hair colour is the lightest shade. Brunette/black hair usually gets less attention because it’s a dark shade and it’s so common in most parts of the world.
Natural blonde hair and blue eyes are becoming less and less common. Obviously, the more rare something becomes, the more popular it becomes as well.
There are a lot of fake blondes around, but only a few of them look good with blonde hair.
I read another article, where they surveyed a couple of thousand men, and asked them what their favorite hair colour was - Blonde, brunette, black or red. Approximately 55% of men (in that survey) blondes were the most attractive.
Another study showed that what most men (in another survey) look for in a woman is blonde hair, blue eyes, tall, curvy, fun, sporty & good in bed.
Based on recent genetic information carried out at three Japanese universities, blonde hair originated in Europe about 11,000 years ago during the last ice age. Before then, Europeans mostly had brunette or black hair, like every other country in the world. When the first blonde women appeared, men were instantly attracted to them because they stood out. This sexual selection has been maintained even today.
Blonde hair & blue eyes are also associated with youth, which once again means that most men are more attracted to blondes, because of “sexual selection.”
And what about the myth that “blondes have more fun?” It doesn’t mean that blondes necessarily do have more fun, people just say this because blondes get more attention, thus they have more opportunities for fun.
The “dumb blonde” stereotype isn’t true either. I know people who have blonde hair (both fake & natural), and they are very smart. In fact they were very good at school and achieved better results than most brunettes. Fake blonde celebrities like Paris Hilton & Jessica Simpson (both natural brunettes) pretend to be bimbos because they want attention & they want everyone to know them as “blondes.”
However, natural blondes are a lot smarter, whcih probably suggests that the reason why SOME fake blondes act stupid is because they feel like they have to follow the stereotype once they dye their hair. OR maybe it’s just the peroxide getting to their brain?
I think blonde hair is beautiful (especially natural blonde hair). Some people who aren’t natural blondes may be able to pull blonde hair off, but most can’t and should stick to their natural hair colour. I never judge a person by their hair colour, because what you look like doesn’t determine how smart or fun you are.
Hair colour is JUST A COLOUR, people are all born different and we shouldn’t try to be something that we’re not. If you’re a natural brunette then you look best with brunette hair, if you’re a natural blonde then you look best with blonde hair, etc.
You’re hair colour doesn’t determine your personality (which is the most important thing).

Scarlett Johansson (people assume she’s a natural brunette, but she even said she has natural darker blodne hair)
Doutzen Kroes
Angelina Jolie (she really is, she said it her self)
Natural blondes are hot, eg. Scarlett Johnasson (natural dark blonde hair), Hayden Panettiere, Doutzen Kroes… And Taylor Swift is pretty cute as well.
Angelina Jolie is a natural blonde, but she looks best with light brown hair.
Angelina’s daughter, Shiloh has the nicest light blonde hair & big blue eyes. She’s so adorable, she’s probably going to be hotter than her mum when she grows up.
Some naturally brunette celebrities look good with blonde hair, eg. Charlize Theron, Britney Spears & Hilary Duff. They all look better with blonde hair in my opinion.
Marilyn Monroe is not a natural blonde either (some people say she was a natural redhead), but she looks best with bonde hair. In fact, it wasn’t until she dyed her hair blonde that she actually became famous. She went from looking like a “plain Jane” to a blonde bombshell. Everyone noticed her after she went blonde, probably because it suited her.
Paris Hilton is a natural brunette, and I don’t like her with blonde hair. It looks too fake on her. She should stick to darker hair. She should also stop wearing blue eye contacts, and just show us her natural brown eyes. I think she would look a lot better if she was more natural, and stopped trying to be something that she is not.
