Natural Blondes to be Extinct in 200 Years; Bottle Blondes to Blame?

Uh oh, the BBC News has reported on a study by German scientists that natural blondes will die out in about 200 years or so. The reason being that the gene for blonde hair is recessive - meaning the gene needs to be passed down from both of the parents. They predict that the last blonde on earth will be born in Finland - the world’s most blonde country (and clearly somewhere I need to visit).
It’s all Ann Widdecombe’s fault

busy stealing your men.
According to the report, natural blondes will become extinct because men prefer the fake and blonder bottle blondes, and chances are they wont carry the natural blonde gene. Yes that’s right folks, total hottie bottle blondes like Ann Widdecombe (pictured left) are stealing all the men.
Well, this is terrible news. No, not the fact that article used Ann as an example, although that is admittedly pretty terrible, but rather the problem I’m going to have getting seven blonde girlfriends at age 225 when there will only be one left in the entire world?! Geez, I better keep plenty of bottles of peroxide on hand for when that day comes! Imagine a world full of just darkheads? (shudders).
But hold the press - don’t be writing the blonde obituaries just yet. After a bit of digging on this story, the popular urban myth website snopes reported this claim was false. The vague source of “German experts” which reference a WHO (World Heatlh Organization) study was apparently not true:
“We’ve certainly never conducted any research into the subject,” WHO spokeswoman Rebecca Harding said from Geneva. “It’s been impossible to find out where it came from. It just seems like it was a hoax.”
Apparently, this type of story has been reported throughout the centuries so a claim like this is hardly new. But the blondes are still around to this day so I think we are safe for now. Snopes concludes by stating this:
No matter how old and ingrained this extinction belief may be, however, blondes and blonde-lovers probably need not fear the imminent demise of natural blondeness. Most scientists asked to comment on the faux study in recent years have opined that although the proportion of blondes in the population might decrease a bit in coming years, it likely won’t drop to nothing any time in the foreseeable future.
So all you blonde lovers can stop worrying that your great grandchilden won’t be able to enjoy some blonde lovin’ too. But just in case, my advice would be not to limit yourself to dating less than say, three blondes at a time, to make sure you maximize the time while they are still around.

2 THUMBS UP FOR BOTTLE BLONDES!! PLASTIC MAKES PERFECT
There wasn´t anything really suprising in these articles..
As a natural blonde AND from finland, the side of this what really interests me, is how can so many man find the bottle blondes more attractive? We here recognize the differences between fake and real ones immeaditely. Sometimes we find its quite amusing the see someone dark having a desperate screaming yellow head. I think there`s nothing attractive with that..
I have at least three friends including me, who were born with blue eyes and really, blonde hair. We´re still blondes, and have to admit, quite horrified. Thinking we´re the last ones is depressing..
Well, a hot tip to those born as brunettes: stick with that. You won`t trick us, nor yourselves.
Natural blonde is way better hands down.
